Depending on your experience, you may also be able to pick up lower-level case work and some business partnering responsibilities. We are keen to give opportunities for learning and development where it's possible.
Your responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for anyone needing support from the People team, either via our HR inbox, or through direct interactions.
- Support hiring managers with all areas of recruitment and selection.

- Take a lead on delivering our onboarding journey.
- Become a super user of our HRIS system and maintain the information held within it.
- Update the finance team on any changes affecting payroll.
- Provide the business with People related data and information.
- Provide support to the wider team on employee relations cases (e.g. capability, grievance & disciplinary).
- Manage our DBS/Safeguarding and Training administration.
- Contribute to the continual review and improvement of our internal HR processes and systems.
- Ensure a professional, friendly and responsive service to the business.

- Excellent systems, administration and organisational skills.
- Good professional boundaries and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- CIPD Qualification preferred but not essential.
What success looks like in this role:
- Administering our processes in an accurate and timely manner
- Continual improvements to our administrative processes are implemented
- Positive feedback from key stakeholders and points of contact

Where you’ll work:
We trust our teams to work remotely, from anywhere in the UK. That said, the People meet weekly, in Exeter to collaborate and support one another so you’ll need to be willing to travel and join us. There might be times when you’ll need to travel to other UK locations for meetings or events but these will be planned ahead of time.
