About Us:
Brain in Hand is the coaching platform that helps autistic and ADHD people achieve more at work, in education and life. Our app takes coaching beyond scheduled sessions into everyday moments, delivering personalised support and real human guidance on-demand 24/7 – exactly when it’s needed most. For organisations, it means you can offer all the actionable support that neurodivergent people need. For individuals, we build confidence and independence through practical tools. With over half our team being neurodivergent, we don’t just understand the journey, we’re on it with you. Grounded in research and empowering over 25,000 users, Brain in Hand is your expert neurodiversity partner.
About you:
If you’re someone who loves connecting with people and making a real difference, this could be the role for you.
You’ll be out in the sector, representing Brain in Hand and building trusted, meaningful relationships with people across Higher Education - from wellbeing teams and support services to Needs Assessors and senior leaders. You’ll be a key voice for what we do: helping others understand the impact of our work, building confidence in our offer, and encouraging referrals into our service.
You’ll also help us grow. That means spotting new opportunities, opening doors, and bringing new partners into our community. You’ll be a key member of our commercial team helping to shape the future of our partnerships — and your contribution will directly support our mission to reach more people, in more places, with the support that works for them.
We know that people bring different strengths to building partnerships, and we value a range of approaches. If you're motivated by building meaningful connections and working collaboratively to create positive change we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
As our Partnerships Manager, you’ll take the lead in building and strengthening relationships across the Higher Education sector. You’ll work closely with the Head of Higher Education to make sure our partners feel supported, connected, and confident in the value we offer.
You’ll act as a key point of contact, helping partners get the most from our offering, listening to what they need, and making sure we’re continuing to meet it. You’ll also collaborate with the wider commercial team and, when needed, support our work in the workplace sector too.
Your responsibilities:
Partnership Building & Relationship Management
- Grow and support partnerships across the Higher Education sector, helping institutions get real value from Brain in Hand.
- Be the main contact for a group of partners — including Needs Assessors, universities, and colleges — building trusted relationships through regular, meaningful contact.
- Work alongside the Head of Higher Education to grow new connections, including with AT resellers and Prime suppliers.
- Deliver clear, engaging product demos and awareness sessions, both online and in person, to a wide range of stakeholders — such as DSA Needs Assessors, student support teams, and wellbeing staff.
- Use feedback and usage data to show the impact of our work and help shape renewal conversations.
- Represent Brain in Hand at sector events and conferences, helping more people learn about who we are and how we support change.
Data, Planning & Performance
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records of partner activity in our CRM (HubSpot), to support smooth handovers and track progress.
- Carry out admin tasks like producing quotes, tracking referrals, and supporting team reporting.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of potential partners and funders, using data to guide your priorities and next steps.
What You’ll Bring to Brain in Hand
We’re looking for someone who:
- Builds strong, trusted relationships with ease — you're confident connecting with people, and you know how to grow partnerships that last.
- Has experience in the Higher Education sector (essential), and ideally also understands the Workplace context. Knowledge of Assistive Technology or support for disabled students or employees is a real bonus.
- Enjoys working toward goals and spotting ways to grow — you’re motivated by impact and not afraid to suggest new ideas.
- Is comfortable using CRM tools like HubSpot to stay organised, track progress, and use data to guide next steps.
- Communicates clearly — whether you’re chatting informally, presenting to a room, or speaking with senior leaders.
- Can stay calm and flexible when things change, and is happy to adapt as we learn and grow.
- Keeps an eye on what’s happening in the sector and is open to new ways of working.
- Believes in the power of coaching and technology to support independence, and is excited to help us reach more people.
- Can juggle a few things at once — you're practical, solution-focused, and happy working with different teams.
- Feels aligned with our mission and wants to play a part in creating meaningful change in Higher Education.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
- You’re hitting or exceeding growth targets and bringing new partners into the Brain in Hand community.
- Partners feel supported, informed, and valued — and they tell us so.
- You’re helping to grow referrals and renewals through strong relationships and clear communication.
- You work well across teams, helping to simplify how we work together and support each other.
What you can expect:
We’re scaling fast, we work at pace and we work hard. We actively support our colleagues to relish the pace, challenge and ambition of Brain in Hand, so you can expect:
- A 9-day working fortnight, with every 2nd Friday focussed on you, for you, to do what you need to support your well-being.
- A values driven, supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Opportunity to shape the future of Brain in Hand through regular colleague consultation and feedback.
- A competitive salary and pension.
- 33 days leave annually (incl. bank holidays).
- Support for professional and personal development.
- Involvement in various internal groups and events like ‘Brew Mondays’ and our employee support groups.
Where you’ll work:
We trust our teams to work remotely, from anywhere in the UK. That said, the Commercial Team meet every few months to collaborate and support one another so you’ll need to be willing to travel. There will also be times when you’ll need to travel to other UK locations for meetings or events but these will be planned ahead of time.
How to apply:
